PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to change product specifications and names without notification. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT.

PAYMENTS

Approved Credit Accounts: Payments must be received no later than 30 days from invoice date. Our preferred method of payment is Bank Transfer (details on invoice), you can also pay by Card either online or by calling us. Failure to pay invoice within terms will result in orders being held until all overdue invoices are settled. Persistent failure to keep within terms will result in loss of credit terms. We reserve the right to charge overdue accounts at the rate set out in the ‘Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act’. Returned cheques will be subject to a charge of £10.00.

RETENTION OF TITLE

Until ownership of the product passes to the customer upon full payment, all goods supplied will remain the property of Walkers Cycle Components Ltd. The customer shall hold the product at their premises properly stored, protected and insured and separate in such a way that they are readily identifiable as belonging to ourselves. We reserve the right to take back any goods if they are not paid for in full or if the customer is declared bankrupt.

CARRIAGE

All orders over £125.00 net will be sent carriage paid, orders not exceeding this amount will be subject to a carriage charge of £9.00 net. Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands & Islands orders under £300.00 net will be charged £25.00 carriage.

DELIVERY

Orders will be delivered on the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed before Bank Holidays will be delivered on the next working day.

BACKORDERS

Walkers Cycle Components Ltd aims to backorder any item not currently in stock at the time of your order being placed. If you do not wish us to backorder any item please inform us when ordering.

SHORTAGES AND DAMAGES

Upon receipt of goods, please check for shortages and damages. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you count the number of parcels delivered against the driver’s Proof of Delivery and only sign for the amount of parcels received. If any parcels show damage this needs to be noted on the delivery slip. We can only claim against our courier if you have noted a shortage or damage at the time of delivery. For us to process any shortages or damages, we must be informed within 24 hours of delivery. No claim can be made against Walkers Cycle Components Ltd unless we are informed within this time.

RETURNS

Where possible your representative will collect any returns, giving a full examination of the item before passing it for credit. You must supply, along with the goods, an invoice number relating to the products for this to be processed accordingly. If you do not have a rep please post it back to us for inspection and processing.
